Ellensburg Dance Ensemble (EDE) is Central Washington’s premier nonprofit dance company, dedicated to keeping the local arts scene vibrant. We offer high-quality dance instruction and performances led by passionate artists and educators.
Our ensemble performs works by guest choreographers, collaborates with professional dancers, and stages multiple productions each year, including The Nutcracker & The Battle for The Key.
Through The Studio by EDE, our educational outreach facility, we provide dance and movement classes for all ages—from Pre-K to adult.

Why EDE Is Different
As a mission-driven nonprofit, EDE prioritizes access to dance education and performance for all, including underserved and low-income communities. Our nonprofit status allows us to apply for grants, receive tax-deductible donations, and offer scholarships and outreach programs. We’re deeply engaged in the community through classes, free performances, and partnerships with local schools and organizations. Volunteers and passionate staff help us keep costs low while providing workshops, masterclasses, and professional learning opportunities. By fostering diversity, accessibility, and inclusion, we create a welcoming space where everyone can experience the joy of dance.
